Before you decide anything, you receive mechanical drawings, material samples, and one clearly defined proposal. The proposal documents the scope, current terms, and expected timeline so you know what you are approving before work is scheduled.

What Gets Sized Wrong in North Texas
We see two mistakes over and over across this metro, and both come from treating size as the only thing that matters.
- Sizing for the worst afternoon of the year. A system built to handle a 100-degree day spends the rest of the season turning on and off too quickly. It hits your thermostat setting fast, but never runs long enough to pull the humidity out of the air, so your house reads 72 degrees and still feels damp.
- Ignoring the ductwork. Much of DFW sits on clay soil that swells and shrinks with the seasons, and that movement can pull duct joints apart under your house. Add a bigger unit on top of a leaking duct system, and the extra air just goes into your crawl space instead of your living room. Measuring the pressure in your ducts finds this. Just looking at them usually does not.
Refrigerant in New Systems
Most newly manufactured residential systems now use lower-GWP refrigerants such as R-454B or R-32. Federal rules restricted the manufacture and import of new higher-GWP residential split-system equipment beginning January 1, 2025. Existing R-410A systems can still be serviced, and eligible equipment manufactured before the cutoff may still be installed under current sell-through rules.

How long does an AC replacement take?
The timeline depends on the home, system design, and whether ductwork or multiple systems are involved. Your proposal documents the expected installation schedule before work begins.
Why do you insist on a load calculation?
Because matching the size of your old unit also carries forward whatever mistake was made when it was first sized. Measuring your actual house sizes the system to how it is today, including any insulation, windows or layout changes since the last installation.
Do you subcontract the installation?
No. Our own crew does every installation. That is not a slogan, it's how we keep the same standard on every job.
Is the quote a fixed price or an estimate?
A single fixed price, not an estimate. It arrives with mechanical drawings and material samples bound together, so you know exactly what you are approving before any work gets scheduled.
